OK, by now you all know that I reckon Oban and the surrounding Argyll area is the bees knees, Gods country, unrivalled for its breath-taking scenery, friendly natives and lovable webmasters.

There are however other places on the planet and on this page you'll find details of some quality websites whose owners have the same passion and love of their homeland as I do.

One of the reasons I started this site is that when I searched online for Oban, Argyll & Scotland many of the sites I found were little more than regurgitated, and very often inaccurate, information. Even the local tourist board site is occassionally guilty in that respect!

All the sites listed below are written by people native, resident or with an in depth knowledge of the area. They will all have a contact page. In other words they are;-
